Researchers can request an increase to their OneDrive storage limit when they are approaching 20GB by contacting the ITS Service Desk and providing the following information: Information Management Best Practices: Microsoft OneDrive and TeamsĪ user's OneDrive has 20GB of storage space by default.Memorial’s Microsoft 365 Terms and Conditions of Use apply to all services including OneDrive.Access to OneDrive will end when a user no longer meets the eligibility requirements defined above.OneDrive file sync is not to be set up on personal devices. File sync is only available for Memorial-managed and domain-joined devices.(Be extra careful when sharing files or folders from OneDrive!) File sharing options include anyone with a link or Microsoft 365 authenticated users.Files moved to a user’s Recycling Bin are permanently purged after 93 days.Set up Microsoft 365 sign-in for multi-factor authentication. Multi-factor authentication is required.Students, retirees, clinical faculty, adjunct faculty, visiting scholars, professional associates, casual or part-time staff, staff on salary continuance, CNS and WRSON faculty are not eligible for OneDrive.
